Blogging For Money In a Down Economy
I will be the first to tell you that I am not some super-rich affiliate marketing type out here in cyber-space earning so much money I can show you photographs of fancy houses and cars…because that is not the truth. What I will tell you is that I have created enough sites out here on the web to be able to allow my wife to stay at home and still be able to make a substantial dent in our 15 year mortgage. We still both work at the Internet thing for a few hours every week and me writing this article is an example of the work that I do. I am off from my day job today, after 13 days straight and if it were not for the income we earn via Internet affiliate marketing, I do not know where we would be now, or how we would even get through the month.
I would love to quit the day job right now and do this full time, but the income is not steady. One month the income has been thousands and the next month it would be less. Granted the amount of money may not impress some of you reading this, but the truth is that the money I (we) earn is worth more in mental health than anyone could realize. What I mean by this is that if it were not for the income earned on the Internet I do not know if I could stay sane in my present job status. What I mean is that if I had no alternative source of income, and was totally dependant on my current job in retail, I would be totally demoralized.
I live in the constant fear that my job is going to be gone one day and that I will go to work one day and learn my position no longer exists. I currently work with individuals today that were “layed off” (don’t we really mean fired?) and then re-hired with less pay and less benefits. That really scares me silly to think if it were not for this little “thing” I have going on the Internet, I would be in the same situation as the rest of the people at my store. If it were not for the money I earned in Affiliate marketing, I would have no ability to day dream of my one day escaping to a life without bosses. If it were not for affiliate marketing and the income I earned out here…I too would be a slave to the time clock for the rest of my life also. With the Internet income I am planning an escape route that would not be available to me, unless I won the lottery.
With continuous effort Sue (wife) and I are dreaming big, and one day that dream will manifest itself into a life style that most only dream about. That future manifests itself in our checking account each and every month. That manifestation comes in the form of cash and that cash appears like magic. We sell nothing, we ship nothing, we have no customers and we have no employees. Like I said…it appears like magic, but I am just happy it is there!
If you feel trapped in your current financial life, then you should check into earning some money on the Internet through affiliate marketing. If you do not know what affiliate marketing is, then you should learn. What have you to lose? Your J-O-B still awaits you (maybe?) and the total start up costs to earn money is less than $20.00. All you need is a website domain name, a server service and Artisteer to easily build your site. You do not even need to know computer code.
The only thing holding you back really is you, if you can afford $20.00 today and $5.00 a month! If I could do it…anyone could do it, so why not you?

I have read your article and I am really alive to blogging for money in the down economy while I am a full-time student. If you could e-mail me and let me know some more information or swing by my site, I would greatly appreciate it so much Keith. I want to wish you and your wife a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
