HostGator Information

Hostgator Information

If you are looking for Hostgator Information then we hope you will find the following helpful.  First off, we are not some website that has a bunch of geeks running around with servers sitting on boxes in the other room.  We are a very small organization that really just loves to blog and put posts up on the web.  We really do not have any servers here in the office at all.  What we do have is a massive bank of servers with legions of employees working each and everyday to maintain them.  The servers we use have a team of security that prevent hacking and make sure our data is safe.  Since we are not a large company we cannot afford to pay all the people to do that kind of work, so we use Hostgator and pay less than $10.00 a month.
Hostgator Server Rental Information
If you need Hostgator information and you are not a huge company or if you are just wanting to put your own blog on the web and do not want Google to control your content, then Hostgator may be for you.  If you DO NOTuse a paid server, then your blog can be yanked if your host does not approve of the content. By using the services of Hostgator, your blog will not be yanked by a company that does not approve of the (legal) content.

Hostgator information that you can use is that they really do have exceptional levels of not only performance, but also for service.  You call them and they answer the phone, and you do not have to press #1 for English.  Despite the superior service you receive I would have to say the wait time for service is not as fast as I would like it to be.  The few times I have called I have been on hold for up to 10 minutes.  Me being as impatient as I am, that is a long time.

The upside to their service is that they are based in the United States.  I am glad that they are here since I try to keep my fellow Americans employed.  When they do answer the phone, your wait time is quickly forgotten because of the quality service that is received.  The most useful piece of Hostgator information I can provide is that if you are looking for a web hosting service, then Hostgator is worth a look because they are always there and they are always helpful.

I am not a computer geek and I sometimes had big problems screw me up when I first started, but to Hostgator it was as minor as could be.  Each time I needed help they were always there to answer the phone and they ALWAYS solved the issue I was dealing with at that moment.

Hostgator uses a typical C panel to run things behind the scenes of your site.  At first glance the C panel looks Greek and it scares away some people.  The truth is that it is not that bad, once you get into it and start using it and learning.  I was really intimidated by the C panel when I first saw it, but Hostgator customer service walked me through the process.  I am no longer afraid of my C panel.

For the last 5 years I have had my service interupted once and a security breach once.  The security breach was someone from Russia causing a re-direct of my site and took about 15 minutes to have corrected.  The one time the sever went down it was back online in minutes.  I was very impressed.

If cost is an issue, you don’t need to worry.  If you only want one domain name (1 website) then you pay can less than $5.00 a month.  If you want unlimited domains, then you will pay less than $10.00 a month.  If you want some Hostgator information then the best thing you can do is just check out their website because we are big fans of their service.  If you are looking for a fine hosting package then give them a shot, you won’t be sorry.

Hostgator Review

To do this Hostgator review I need to give you some background on me.  Why I say this is because I am as a non-computer type of person as God could create.  I have feared the use of my own server space for so long, I am ashamed to admit.  I tried a few other hosting services through the years with the first one taking our money and when they shut their doors, took my entire two years of website work with them.  After almost two years, I literally had nothing to show for the time spent.  Search Engine rankings were gone, as well as everything else I had worked on.

Being clueless I had no backup and I sure as heck did not have a fine organization like I have now with Hostgator.  When I first signed on with them I was happy that the people that answered the phone were in America and they spoke English.  I am not a prejudice person, but I feel as if I have the right to spend my money where ever I want and I have no desire to use a server company in another country and I sure as heck do not want to struggle trying to understand what the person on the other end of the phone is saying.  Hostgator is right there where they need to be for me, which is in the United States.

I have had two problems with Hostgator during the past three years.  The first problem was when my sites were not coming up and I made one phone call and it was fixed in less that 10 minutes.  The second problem I had was when someone took control of one of my blogs and before I was off the phone the problem was corrected.  In both cases I turned and looked at my spouse with utter amazement. I felt as if I had an I.T. Department all my own.  Hostgator was totally helpful and were not the least bit aggressive about my low level of understanding.  Those experiences won me over as a customer and I give them a double thumbs up.

xxxxxWhat I really like about using HostGator is the level of freedom and independence I truly have with my blogs and my one website. I no longer have to adhere to the rules of what the hosting organization permits.  When I used to use a FREE hosting blog site, it really did not hit the spot.   If I was inactive for too long, they shut me down.  If I wrote something they did not agree with, they would just shut me down.  The words you are reading now are fresh out of the HostGator server and they really just leave me alone , as long as I pay my bill that is!

Speaking of paying my bill, the price for HostGator is beyond cheap.  I pay over $250.00 a month for my cell phone and I pay less than $10.00 a month to host agazillion websites (okay it is not that many, but it is alot and it is unlimited).  Using the baby gator plan I can have as many sites as I can pump out for less that $10.00 a month.  Now that is a bargain considering the support you receive from HostGator customer service.

To sum it all up, HostGator is well worth the cash to use.  When you register your domain name from GoDaddy and you use Artisteer for the template and then launch it via Hostgator, you have created a platform that makes you impervious to destruction by some corporate hack.  The splitting of the three (hosting, design and registration) provides you, the webmaster, the strength of having total control of your cyber world.  By splitting up the creation process no one “leg” of your world is controlled and dominated by one source.  If by some small chance one leg broke off, your realm would not be crippled.  The two remaining legs of your cyber domain would still stand and support the load long enough until the wounded portion could have damage control.

Hostgator is awesome and needs to be part of your line of cyber creation with a built in defense plan.  It really does make sense doesn’t it?
