If you want to create your own blog without it costing anything then there really is nothing to choose between wordpress.com and blogger.com. They both allow you to set up your own blog free of charge and you will be able to write and publish your own comments on any topic barring the usual unacceptable things like hate, racism, etc. Others will be able to leave comments/opinions on what you have written and you can reply to these comments. You also have the option to accept or reject comments if you wish.
If you wanted to have more control you can buy a domain name and hosting for your own blog based on the wordpress or blogger platforms. For this I would recommend wordpress as it is more versatile than blogger.
Well, in order to get the largest following you’ll need to create it using free social media tools. There’s a free video and guide here that explains how to go about this the most efficient effective way to get maximum exposure.
Well, if you know about twitter and want something similar, but with the ability to post longer thoughts and entries, check out Typepad. They offer free accounts.
For more general, long form blogging check out blogger.com or wordpress.com . both offer free accounts. I tend to like WordPress better because it is more customizable with different themes and colors, as well as plugins that offer different features.
All three of these allow others to leave comments on your posts.
